About Demonfall:
I love when games try new ideas and concepts while still using what people like from similar games. This feels like a Hat in Time style 3D platformer, and uses a lot of typical mechanics, such as double jump, wall jumping, and some type of attack. The concept of the game is really creative, and I love how the developers made a game about taking over the demon world cute and fun. The artwork is really unique and fun, with everything looking like paper or cardboard. The characters are fun, and the humour is not over the top but still makes me laugh. Overall I have had a really good experience with the game so far, and look forward to continuing to be the ruler of the demon world! This game is fun and charming has some really nice and satisfying platforming mechanics, but reaching the end ended up being too much of a chore as some of the later return trip levels ended up being really really unfun, and one of the turf wheel power ups are incredibly unfun. Also, the checkpoint system where you can place them anywhere is fun, but if you mess up your checkpoint placement since you have no idea where to place them, then you end up making a level completely unfun for yourself. This is one of very few games I’d ever consider going 100% on… but the fact that I DID go 100% on it should very well show how much I love this. There’s one word really that needs to be said to explain this game.
