About Dust Wasteland Survival:
Dust is a fantastic puzzle/god game. You control the Breath and employ various powers to shape the world, allowing your followers to settle some truly precarious villages along the way. The game is still very impressive, even so many years after its release. Sometimes, I’ll take a break from the occasionally stressful obstacles and just watch a newborn river grow and evolve, the real-time erosion mechanics creating fascinating river deltas. The only real drawback is that the game is entirely too short, with the story missions taking me about 8 hours to finish. There are challenge maps available as well, but they don’t scratch quite the same itch as the campaign levels. Still, it’s worth the price of admission. Wrestling with nature until it bends to your will is supremely satisfying every single time. Ugh Ubisoft is the worst! On par with EA, the two companies that are ruining video games. It’s a shame because I really liked this game when it came out but now it’s total garbage. If I would have known it was affiliated with Ubisoft I never would have paid the $4 for it. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY This game is a little jewel. You manipulate water, land and lava to save a tribe and that feel super satisfying. I made a little research and discover that the creator is Eric Chahi who is an iconic game designer that made “Another World” which is considered a classic in video game. The only issue is the control which feel a little bit clumsy at the beginning but I get use to it after the first map. In a nutshell, this is the best voxel/fluid simulation game I ever play.
