Needing to avoid things isn’t such a bad switch up, but when it’s hard to even see some of the items it’s just annoying. Especially when you have to go through the ‘win’ phase, go back to the little box on the level planet and then re-enter and start over. If it at least had a ‘try again’ option from these levels it wouldn’t be so annoying. I ran into a sign and it had a cow on it and I died inside. So frustrating. But otherwise, it’s as crazy as I remember it. Rolling up into insane sizes is always fun. I would prefer if the dash was done differently. Needing to move the sticks up and down opposite each other multiple times is cumbersome and the distance the boost even takes you feels like it’s barely further than if you just kept going without the interruption Firstly the entire premise of the game is that you’re prince ouji and you’re tasked with restoring the stars in the sky after they mysteriously vanished by doing what you do best in katamari games… ROLLING UP THE WORLD!!!!! As long as you make your katamari big enough there’s nothing you can’t roll up from cows, giant radishes, to entire buildings, and chunks out of the ground. The soundtrack is a true hidden gem in games I have played and is immediately going into my playlist as soon as possible since it just has a real fun unique sound that I don’t hear out of to many games anymore. 10/10 would bop to soundtrack again.
